2-1 Architectural concept for Spain : The architectural concept for Spain to design a contemporary Mediterranean style resort. The Concept links the main external commercial marina to a smaller intimate marina, allowing boat Access to the apartment and a small intimate boutique hotel. The hotel is located on the highly visible main corner of the island to maximize its exposure and also provide ocean front views to the hotel suits of Spain. This naturally develops two hard edge conditions against the ocean marina site and navigational Channel side allowing for an expansive beach, located to the north, adjacent to the beaches of France.

2.2 Architectural Concept for FRANCE : oth France and Spain are zoned as high density. The concept allows for a reduced density on the French island, enabling the introduction of villas fronting the private beaches which surround the Majority of the island. This extensive beach front is only interrupted to allow water access to the French Marina, which contains restaurants and cafes at the marina water level. Again each Apartment and villa is afforded glorious water views. The two islands are linked by a pedestrian bridge enabling visitors to lunch in Spain and dine in France without the need to board a boat. The villas on France are staggered along the beachfronts so that some are located lower Down . The Beach and hang dramatically over the water. The adjacent apartment buildings are designed to create a series of Mediterranean streets in and around them and vary between 3 and 4 storey’s in Height
